This continuously provides Dr. Annandale with confirmation that he made the right choice to become a Plastic Surgeon. He believes in proper understandable communication providing information to patients to enable them to make informed decisions about surgery.
Honesty and discussion of realistic expectations are of utmost importance to him. Patients should be informed fully about their condition, as well as the implications when surgery would be performed and also when surgery would not be performed.
He enjoys all aspects of Plastic (to change form = cosmetic) and Reconstructive Surgery (to restore function especially after trauma or cancer surgery).
This is the only Speciality that deals with the whole human body from head to toe addressing Congenital (birth abnormalities), Cosmetic and Reconstructive conditions.

Dr. Annandale has been working actively with a Wound Care Specialist for more than twenty years to provide patients with this service when needed.

Grysie Annandale is a full registered member of the Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons of Southern Africa ( APRASSA ), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS ), South African Medical Association ( SAMA ) and is also registered with the HPCSA.
